Comic? You Mean Webtoon

My two best comic in my life come from South Korea!! (Don't read the comic in first picture, it might break your heart)


If someone ask you which country produce the best comic, you may answer either Japan or America. I guess the comic tradition in their country is really thick and very good consider a popular story such as superhero comic like Spider man from Marvel, or Anime such as Naruto and other stuff. However, nowadays new power arising from south Korea as they introduce you guys to a new style of comic name Webtoon.

So what is Webtoon? Webtoon is a new style of comic which popular in Korea that use internet as their media instead of book. Since it's available in Internet, Webtoon is not only free, but also easy to read because you only need to scroll down your computer screen. Compare to Japanese comic, Webtoon has simple story line and full color. In addition, few webtoon add animation effect or sound effect inside the story itself. These advantages make reader easy to follow the story and make the scene itself exciting. It's proven that few webtoon such as Noblesse, The Gamer, and God of High School  are on top 50 popular comics in website called Mangafox.

Anyway, I recommend you to read Webtoon (if you have same hobby like me). There is english version of webtoon in Mangafox and Korean version in comic.naver.com.
